Wireless charging pad and power bank provide convenient, versatile device charging.
LONG BEACH, CALIF., August 5, 2021 – JVCKENWOOD today announced the expansion of its JVC product line with the addition of two Qi Certified wireless chargers – a wireless charging pad and a magnetic power bank.
Both charging products offer the broad compatibility and safety that comes with Qi Certification, and provide the convenience and durability consumers expect from wireless chargers.
JVC’s new charging pad, the BH-QCP1, is a high speed Qi Certified wireless charger that offers the convenience of three charging coils for a wide contact area, and so eliminates the need to precisely place a device on the pad to initiate charging. It’s compatible with 15 watt (w), 10w 7.5w, and 5w devices, which makes it ideal for a multi-device household. An LED indicates charging status.
The new JVC charging pad is large enough to accommodate plus-size mobile phones and other larger devices, yet has a sleek, low profile design. The soft silicone anti-skid surface makes the pad especially well-suited for stable in-vehicle wireless charging.
The BH-QCP1 charging pad features a USB-C power connector, and comes with a USB C to USB-A cable adapter for compatibility with a wide range of devices. It supports both Apple AirPods Pro and 2nd generation AirPods.
The new JVC magnetic power bank, the BH-QPB50, is a Qi Certified wireless charger that can charge up to three devices simultaneously. Power output is 5w with a maximum output of 15w. The charger has a battery capacity of 3.7V/5000mAh. High speed charging is done via a wired USB-C input/output and USB-A output, allowing users to charge three devices simultaneously – wireless, USB-C, USB-A. An LED power indicator displays charging status and battery life in 20 percent increments.
At a mere 11mm (0.43 inches) thick, the BH-QPB50 is compact and sleek, with a black glass surface front and back. A magnet is included to make it quick and easy to attach to a smartphone.
The JVC BH-QCP1 charging pad will be available this month for $39.95. The JVC BH-QPB50 power bank is available now for $49.95.
The launch of JVC charging products is the company’s most recent expansion of its product line into new categories, which included the introduction of several Bluetooth speakers in 2020. A full lineup of gaming headsets is planned for introduction later this year.
